Colour Temperature

The accuracy to which a product can illuminate an object’s colour, compared with natural light.

A higher CRI rating means that the colours of the room and its contents will look more natural.

Power Consumption (Watts)

The amount of electrical power required to use the product

Lumens

How much light the product produces. When put in terms of luminal efficiency, this determines how much brightness the product produces per watt.

Power Factor

How much of the input electrical power is converted to light.

CRI – Colour Rendering Index

The accuracy to which a product can illuminate an object’s colour, compared with natural light.

Beam Angle

This indicates the spread of light from a light source. A narrow beam concentrates light, which may be better for accent lighting.
A wide beam angle give softer, more evenly distributed illumination.

IP Rating

This rating indicates the degree of protection from the environment, including dirt, water and dust.

Dimmable

This indicates if the product is able to be dimmed and the type of dimming used.
